Last week my friend Anne and I (Hi Anne!) took a class on English paper piecing. There was also a tea party. I am posting a photo of some of my progress. I have added to it since I took these photos. I took a photo of the reverse so that you can see the paper pieces that are still inside the shapes. I remove them as soon as they are completely surrounded by stitching. I am really enjoying this project.

Great job on your project! I love paper piecing and have made a Grandmother's Flower Garden and am working on the Hexagon quilt now. Great projects for riding in the car or just watching TV. Am anxious to see how your project will turn out. :D
English paper piecing is very soothing. Hope you enjoyed the tea party too.
They look great - Are they hard to do? I have never paper pieced before.
I've never heard of paper piecing. It looks absolutely beautiful though.
Good for you....paper piecing is fun....not that I have done very much. I have got a box of ready to go blocks in the cupboard...another day!! Cathyx
I haven't tried this before, how big are the pieces? I have been watching Carol (Cornfield Quilter) as she makes hers and think it would be fun to try.
Those little diamonds look a lot more enticing with such modern fabrics! Good job - gonna be cute!
looking good!! I want to try that one. maybe some day.
I see you are enjoying this method! Can you tell what you are going to make?
