Ouchie, OUCH! Ouchie!!

Please say a prayer for my brother who is in the ER right now. He ground the end off his thumb with a grinder at work. Down to the bone! The doctors are going to have to pull the remaining skin up over the bone and sew it up. I can imagine that the nerve damage will be an issue.

Oh, how traumatic! Of course we'll all be thinking of him. Keep us posted - pictures probably are not necessary ;-)

What is it with grinders? My husband did the exact same thing a couple of years ago while working on our floor. Thirteen hours in the emergency room. Sheesh! But you know what? His fingernail grew back and his finger survived the awful trauma. I'm hoping your brother will be just as lucky.

Oh my, it hurts just to read about it. I can only imagine how painful it must be. I hope they are able to repair his finger so that it is usable again.

The poor guy! While it's no consolation, it could have been even worse. Hope he is put back together, very soon!

Of course we will be thinking about him----here's hoping that he will/was prescribed pain medicine! OUCH!

ADORABLE background! When did that get added? How perfect for this time of year.
Happy Sunday

Lord, please be with Julie's brother and ease his pain. Thank you that he didn't lose a finger and thank you for his loving family. Please help him be up and working again soon! In Jesus' name, Amen

You're right Julie - thumbs are obviously flavour of the moment - from your description I think I'd prefer Sarah's break - hope he recovers quickly

Oh my god, that is heavy.

I pray that he will be soon better. My dad has had put his little finger into the inside of the engine of a harvester, and he has lost the first part of it.

Long times, he had pain just at the phalanx although it was lost.

I think at you and your brother.

Love,

Marion
